Pastor Connie Jones is first a child of God, a man so filled with the Holy Spirit that even he can’t control it. Second, he is the son of the late Gloria Jones Jenkins and Lester Reed, Sr. and a son of Siloam Baptist Church.
He was born, May 9, 1960 in Westmoreland County. Pastor Jones attended Westmoreland County public schools and graduated from Washington and Lee High School in 1980. He attended Rappahannock Community College. Under the leadership of Moderator Claude Tate, Jones attended the Faith Bible Institute and was awarded a two year certificate on December 11, 1999.

Pastor Jones acknowledged his call to the ministry in 1999 and was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 2004 at Siloam Baptist Church under the pastorate of Pastor Clarence Long. His ministerial duties included assisting the Pastor, teaching/instructing the Believers Class, member of the Men’s Ministry, and spiritually guiding the C. Long Inspirational Choir during their monthly rehearsal sessions.
On September 28, 1991, he was joined in Holy matrimony to the former Frances Alease Rich. They are blessed with one son, Markeith Pertrail Rich and a grandson, Markeith P. Rich, Jr.
Pastor Jones is a God sent man trying to do right by God and man. He is presently taking classes at The Richmond Virginia Seminary to further his pastorate duties. He is man reaching for the prize of the higher calling of Christ Jesus.
